OSHA Launches New National Emphasis Program For Heat Illness and Injury

On April 8, 2022, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) launched a to protect millions of workers in 70 high-risk industries from heat illness and injuries. High-risk industries that include manufacturing, construction, and warehousing.
OSHA will conduct programmed (pre-planned) inspections in the targeted industries on any day that the National 亚星游戏官网ather Service has a heat warning or advisory for the local area. The National Emphasis Program will remain in effect for three years unless canceled or extended by a superseding directive.
