Grant funding is a powerful tool for our clients to be able to launch, finish, or expand the scope of their projects. At GZA, we work to find grants our clients are eligible for as part of our project work. Here are four grants that may be of particular interest to clients:

 

Port Infrastructure Development Program (PIDP) Grants Updated with New Deadline and Revised Documentation

The US Department of Transportation (USDOT) has amended the 2025 Port Infrastructure Development Program (NOFO), with a new deadline of September 10th, 2025. $50 million in funding has been added, bringing total funds available to $500 million. Proposals are due September 10th, 2025.

 

Large Bridge Grant Program

The USDOT is soliciting applications for Large Bridge Projects under the . Projects will improve the condition of bridges, and the safety, reliability, and efficiency of moving people and freight over bridges. Applications are due August 1st, 2025.

 

Conservation Partners Program 2025

The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) is awarding grants of up to that “accelerate the voluntary adoption of regenerative agriculture principles and conservation practices on private working lands in priority geographic areas.� Project must start on or after October 1st, 2025, and should end within 36 months of the project start date. Full proposals are due by July 15th, 2025.

 

T-Mobile Hometown Grants

for shovel-ready projects in towns with less than 50,000 residents. Projects should “foster local connections, like technology upgrades, outdoor spaces, the arts, and community centers.� Every quarter, 25 projects are selected for up to $50,000 in funding.
