Up to $500,000 Available in Matching Funds for New Hampshire Outdoor Recreational Areas and Facilities

The , which is administered through the State of New Hampshire Department of Natural and Cultural Resources (DNCR) to eligible applicants, including town or city government units, special districts, school districts, and county governments in the State of New Hampshire. These grants fund the development, acquisition, or both of property for outdoor recreational purposes.
Intent-to-Apply forms are due by June 27th, 2025, at 4:00pm. The forms will be reviewed and if found to be eligible, a site inspection will be coordinated to help make a determination. After that determination is made, invitations to apply will be sent.
Applicants must commit to contributing a minimum of 50% of the overall project costs. Funding requests can be made for between $50,000 to $500,000, depending on project scale, with all grant payments to be made on reimbursement basis.
